Sunnyside Devnet Reports (Internal)

Overview

• All single CL devnets except Nimbus reached 72 blobs per block. Nimbus implementation is yet ready.
• Beyond 72 blobs:
  • Prysm devnet stably maintains nearly 90 blobs per block.
  • Lighthouse yet tested beyond 72 blobs (was testing BPO configs with this devnet).
  • Other devnets fail, but this maybe due to our unstable transition to a new Nethermind image supporting more than 72 blobs.
• PandaOps’ Fusaka-Devnet-1 duplicate accepts ~10 blobs per block on average .
  • Running another devnet with Lighthouse/Prysm/Teku CLs x Geth/Reth/Nethermind/Besu

Reasons of Delay

• Spamoor instability
• Fixing overloaded Grafana server
• A regression on latest Nethermind image caused blobs to be uploaded only up to 55 blobs. After switched to an image supporting up to 72 blobs. Then, to an image supporting without limits.

Plans by end of week

• Test GetBlobsV2 disabled on single CL devnets
• Test Lighthouse devnet without blob limits
